Cutest Granddaughter In The World!

Our little granddaughter was born March 6, 2013 in Corpus Christi, Texas.  She was a few weeks premature and had to stay in the hospital for about one month before she could go home with her parents.

Charlie's dad (Russell) was able to take military leave from the Coast Guard and Russell, LeighAnn and Charlie drove up to Utah.  Debbie had already gone down to Texas to see Charlie shortly after she was born.  I had to wait!  Just after midnight on May 26th, the doorbell rang and when we answered the door we found Charlie in her car seat all alone on the front porch.  We quickly pulled her inside the house and pulled her out and I got to hold her for the first time.  Russ and LeighAnn a moment later came inside laughing.  It was one of the highlights of my life- holding a new grandchild for the first time.  Charlie even gave me a little smile.  They stayed with us for 3 1/2 weeks.
